Our story

In 2016 we proudly opened our Italian Kitchen in Wareham, set on Wareham Quay with beautiful views across the Purbeck Hills and River Frome. Three successful years later, we opened our first Italian Bakery on North Street in the town. This allows us to bake our own artisan bread and support our delivery and take away service; Street Pizza. Our aim for Street Pizza is to offer restaurant quality dishes including pasta dishes as well as our highly praised pizzas for delivery to your door or for collection.

An opportunity arose to expand the Italian Group and we acquired Haymans Bakery in Swanage in April 2022. Hayman’s have been baking in Swanage for over 100 years so it was an exciting venture. We took over the shop in Institute Road, just a stone’s throw from Swanage’s fantastic beach, along with a large industrial unit where all our artisan baking is produced. This unit allowed us to successfully increase our retail and wholesale capacity and we are now the chosen supplier to local shops and businesses including pubs, garden centres, village and farm shops, campsites and restaurants throughout Purbeck.

At the beginning of 2023 we successfully refurbished the Swanage shop aligned with the Italian brand, although we were conscious and respectful of retaining some of Haymans traditions and provide continuity for the beautiful recipes which date back to the last century!
